Mirror for Bathroom Furniture
The mirror units can be framed or plain, drilled or undrilled depending on the make. Lighting is quite often fitted above mirrors to illuminate the area for shaving or applying makeup. If the mirror is recessed back against the wall, the lights can be fitted through the bridging panel from above.
If you are fitting your own mirror, as opposed one from the bathroom furniture manufacturer, ensure it is suitable for use in the bathroom and will not be affected by the steamy environment. In addition to plain mirrors some wall units are available with mirror doors so you get the added advantage of extra storage.
As well as a virtual necessity from a practical point of view, a bathroom mirror performs an important aesthetic role in making the room appear larger than it actually is. This effect will increase with the size of the bathroom mirror - the larger the mirror the larger the room will feel.
