Sliding Shower Door
If you have a larger than average shower cubicle one option that becomes available to you is a sliding shower door as these are not usually available on standard size units (such as a 760 x 760mm size)
In this instance the cubicle has been installed in conjunction with bathroom cladding, here seen in a mosaic effect.
One advantage of this type of shower door is that it does not pivot out into the room which can be a problem if there is a fixture near the cubicle that the door could foul on, such as a wash hand basin.
The channel that the door runs in can sometimes get blocked with soap residue but this is usually quite easy to keep clean to ensure the smooth operation of the sliding door mechanism.
